This East Coast Tour Paramedic Ride in PEI will be my 4th consecutive time flying east from Ontario with my bike to ride in the Maritimes. I have come to really love and value this ride; not just the fresh ocean air and the gorgeous scenery, but the exceptional kindness, camaraderie, humour and unconditional support of the people that make up this ride. It is has become a highlight of my year. This year, having very recently lost my Dad, I will ride in his honour as well as all of the paramedics we have lost. I know he is watching over me with pride and love and pushing me to keep going from above.
