Support the Tour Paramedic Ride Ontario and Honor Our Heroes
Ontario is the birthplace of the Tour Paramedic Ride, formerly known as Paramedic Ride. The very first ride took place in 2013, when a small group of Canadian paramedics joined their American colleagues to launch an adventure inspired by the success of the Muddy Angels in the United States. This initiative laid the foundation for a national tradition of solidarity and recognition for paramedics.
Over the years, the iconic Toronto-Ottawa route, spanning four days, has become an essential event. The ride grew so popular that, in one memorable year, nearly 200 participants from Ontario set out and met almost as many cyclists from Quebec—a record that still stands in the history of the Tour Paramedic Ride.
In 2020, as the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted lives everywhere, Ontario also hosted the Memorial Bell Tour. This significant event allowed many services and paramedics to pay tribute to their fallen colleagues during this unprecedented global period.
A new route, but the same commitment
Today, Ontario’s cycling community continues to uphold this spirit of solidarity and remembrance. Each year, riders gather with pride to honor paramedics who have lost their lives in the line of duty and to raise public awareness about the importance of their work.
Where do your donations go?
All funds raised are donated to the Canadian Paramedic Memorial Foundation to support the creation of the Canadian Paramedic Memorial. This monument will honor the skill, courage, and sacrifice of paramedics who have served their communities across the country, ensuring their memory is preserved for generations to come.
Every donation matters. By supporting the Tour Paramedic Ride Ontario, you are actively contributing to the recognition and commemoration of paramedics who gave their lives in service to others.
Take action today and join this cause that unites us. Because together, we ride so that they are never forgotten.
